The below tutorial is very simple and it does not deals with you need to access your cPanel and FTP. This tutorial is performed using the WordPress Dashboard. - Goto WordPress Dashboard.
- Goto Plugins — Add New.
- Search – WP Downgrade | Specific Core Version.
- Install & activate the plugin WP Downgrade | Specific Core Version.
- Now Open WP Downgrade by going through Settings – WP Downgrade.
In the WP Downgrade page. You will be asked to enter the WordPress Target Version. It will be the WP version which you want to downgrade. For this tutorial we are downgrading to WordPress Version 4.3 . Additional to this, it will show Current WP Version and Language detected.
- Click on Save Changes.
- Go to WordPress updates/ Update core.
Before you click on the Update Now or Download Now Button. It necessary that you backup your files and database before you proceed to downgrade WordPress version.
- Click on Update Now
- Wait for few seconds. You website will be downgrade to the WordPress you choose earlier.
